If you have never stopped to visit the Port of Garibaldi, you have missed a gem on the Oregon Coast! As one of the last authentic fishing villages, Garibaldi is a charmer.
Come paddle the harbor, right next to the very boats that catch your seafood, and (weather permitting) paddle outside the harbor to view a historic Coast Guard station. From your kayak, you might see barnacle-covered dock pilings, sea birds, harbor seals, and the spectacular surroundings of forested coastal mountains that nestle Garibaldi alongside the bay.
