Basic Climbing Class

This Basic Climbing Class is great for all ages and experience levels. You will climb in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservancy Area which is 13 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip in the beautiful Spring Mountains. It is one of the finest rock climbing destinations in the world with its temperate climate and thousands of routes. The crimson, multi-hued sandstone peaks tower behind the Las Vegas skyline. From the parking lot you will start off with a 15-minute hike to the climbing area. From there instruction will be given on how to fit the harness, helmet, and tie into the climbing rope. After an orientation on safety systems regarding anchoring and managing the rope while climbing, you spend the rest of the day practicing climbing movement and having fun!
