Laughton Glacier Expedition
Ride the White Pass Railway and hike a glacier with hot drinks, lunch, and expert guides for an unforgettable adventure!
Board the White Pass scenic railway for a one-hour journey past waterfalls, rushing rivers, jagged peaks, and Klondike Gold Rush history. At Glacier Station, embark on a fully guided round-trip hike of up to eight miles. Follow a well-maintained trail through an old-growth rainforest, home to abundant wildlife, along the Skagway River, and into the valley of the majestic Laughton Glacier, perfect spots for memorable photos.
Leaving the lookout, the trail becomes more rugged but still manageable as you approach the glacier. Navigate a boulder field onto the ice and take in breathtaking views of crevasses, moulins, and other striking features of this ever-changing frozen river. Enjoy hot drinks on the glacier before returning to the trailhead for a traditional "Bush Buffet" with cold beverages. With a ratio of no more than six guests per guide, you will receive extraordinary customer service.
