Lisbon: Dolphin Watching Boat Tour
Starting in Lisbon center, under the big red majestic bridge, your group departs from Doca de Santo Amaro, in the neighborhood of Alcântara. For the short safety and activity briefing, it is important to arrive a couple of minutes prior. Before leaving the Tagus Estuary through the river mouth, you will sail under the 25th of April bridge and see the beautiful monuments in the Belem neighborhood. Then you'll head towards the wide Atlantic Ocean and get the best view from the coastline.
Depending on the ocean conditions and the know-how of the crew, you will sail closer to Cascais or further down South above the Lisbon submarine Canyon. Get to know the species of cetaceans and seabirds with a marine biologist on board. You'll also see animals such as sharks, jellyfish, seabirds, whales, or even sea turtles, so close to Lisbon.
Although the success of observing dolphins is around 97%, SeaEO Tours cannot be held responsible if, despite all efforts, the clients don't have the opportunity to watch dolphins in their wild environment.
After the wildlife marine safari ends, get to know some facts about the Bugio lighthouse, the Tower of Belém, and the Discoveries Monument.
Duration: 3 hours
