Leave in the morning from the hotel and make your first stop at a local market in Gunungsari, famous for its great variety of fruits and spices. Along the way, see the lives of the local people unfold at a sedate pace as they go about their daily activities. Admire the idyllic Lombok rice paddies, the layout there is different compared to those in Bali, with subtle terraces leaving the landscape a more intense and compact green, stretching out to the horizon.
Drive to Benang Stokel where, after a short trek, you will reach the first waterfall. Continue to the second and more scenic waterfall of Benang Klambu, nestled in the middle of the surrounding green. Enjoy swimming at both waterfalls.
Drive along the beautiful stretch of cliff tops along the north coast, with a stop in a local restaurant for lunch. Snap some photos when stopped briefly at the monkey forest, then continue to Mipah Beach for a relaxing afternoon on the beach while soaking up the spectacular sunset.
