Medicinal Plant Hike
You will meet your guide at the trailhead for a 1.5 to 2.5-hour medicinal plant hike where you will identify and learn about up to 20 plants along the way. Test your scavenger-hunting skills with a plant key and see how many medicinal plants you can spot before your hiking guide does! You will get to create an herbalism journal to take home as a memento of your experience and for future reference.
Option 1: Easy hiking level with two steep maneuvers, three miles, and 450 feet of elevation gain.
Option 2: Moderately challenging hiking level, a distance of five miles, and a total elevation gain of 1,122 feet.
Note: Bring water and prepare with clothing layers depending on the weather.
Duration: 1.5 to 2.5 hours
