Paddle across Mendenhall Lake for a rare, up-close view of the stunning Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive kayaking tour, operated under a limited U.S. Forest Service permit.  After a brief lesson, gear up and set out on a stable two-person kayak across iceberg-dotted waters. Along the way, your guide will share insights on the glacier, local wildlife, and the surrounding Tongass National Forest.

Venture within a safe distance of the massive, ever-changing glacier face, taking in its stunning blue ice formations. Then, glide past the powerful Nugget Falls, feeling the mist from its rushing waters.  After paddling back across the lake, refuel with a snack of Alaskan-style fare and take a moment to reflect on this unforgettable experience!
