The Monteverde Organic Coffee Tour offers a different perspective of the Monteverde Cloud Forest and its countryside, where you can appreciate the beauty and tranquility of rural Costa Rican life, a world away from the tourist crowds and traffic.

Visitors are given the rare privilege of exploring this beautiful private farm founded by the Quakers for the farmers to make a living.  On a guided walk, you will see the amazing process of one very important product worldwide, as well as enjoy coffee. 

This will include explanation of coffee production from the plant to the cup.  This organic coffee farm is at the high altitude of 1170 meters above sea level in the bordering town of San Luis. All of the trails are well maintained, which allows the tour to be accessible for most travelers. 

After the tour around the plantation, you will be invited into the local farmer’s home for a freshly brewed cup of coffee.
