Moonlight Snowshoe
Enter the winter wonderland of the Mt Hood Wilderness. Your guides will take you among the frozen pines and firs blanketed in snow as you gaze up at the night sky. On some nights, the moon is bright enough to light the way without the aid of a headlamp! Hike for an hour up to a spectacular view of Mt Hood (when cloud cover and weather allow), where the group will break for hot drinks and snacks. The hike will be two to four miles roundtrip, depending on the group's pace.
Please note: Your guides will teach you everything you need to know about using snowshoes before hitting the trail. No experience necessary! Must be 12 years of age or older. Please contact us before booking for anyone under 18.
Participants must be able to hike at least two to four miles over uneven terrain. There may be short sections of the trail with a steep incline. Heavy snowfall can make the hike more difficult. Please wear clothing appropriate for an evening in the snow. This trip will run in all weather unless conditions are unsafe. You will need sturdy, warm, and waterproof shoes. A full packing list will be provided after booking.
