Located in the highlands of the southern zone of western Belize, the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve offers cool streams and reveals splendid natural monuments. Here you will find a scenic combination of cool pine forests, tumbling streams, lush river valleys, caves, and waterfalls.
The most popular of the waterfalls is Big Rock Waterfall and the Rio Frio Cave is one of the largest caves in Belize. The Rio On pools are a must for an afternoon swim before heading out of the reserve.
Your guided tour will be followed by a delicious traditional Belizean lunch consisting of rice & beans, stewed chicken, fried plantains and salad. Water and sodas will be provided. Special diets or preferences can be adhered to.
