Pacaya Volcano Tour and Hot Springs with Lunch from Guatemala City
Pacaya is an active volcano located in the municipality of San Vicente Pacaya in the department of Escuintla, Guatemala. You will be picked up at your hotel and driven to National Park Pacaya.
Upon arrival at the Park, you will meet your local guide. Start hiking from the San Vicente de Pacaya village for about 60 minutes ascending to the Volcano. On the way you can appreciate the beautiful landscape with a view to the Agua volcano and the Fuego Volcano. You will reach a rocky, arid area where you can see the volcano and lava flows, and roast marshmallows.
Begin your descent to the Kawilal Hot Springs where you can enjoy all the thermal pools, steam baths, and hydrothearpy baths followed by a delicious lunch. Kawilal is a world of relaxation, a complex that promotes sustainable tourism in this country, and has 12 thermal pools, thermal circuit, steam baths, and Hydrotherapy Baths.
