Pacific Crest Trail Backpacking
Embark on an unforgettable backpacking adventure along a stunning stretch of the legendary Pacific Crest Trail. Follow in the footsteps of pioneers and thru-hikers as you traverse dramatic landscapes, lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and sweeping mountain vistas—experiencing nature in its purest form. Your journey begins at the gear shop in the "Gateway to the Gorge," where you'll meet your expert guides for an orientation and trip overview. From there, head into the wilderness for a short hike to your first backcountry campsite.
On day two, venture deeper into the wild, putting your newly learned backpacking skills to use as the adventure truly unfolds. As your journey winds down, you'll pack up camp one final time, enjoy the last bites of trail breakfast, and begin your hike back toward the "front country." After covering the final miles to the trailhead, you'll return to the gear shop in Troutdale, wrapping up an unforgettable adventure.
