Your guide will meet you right at Horseshoe Cove on Cape d’Or, Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia. In Advocate Harbour, follow the signs to the Cape d’Or Lighthouse.
The gravel road is suitable for most types of vehicles but not for motorcycles or sports cars with low clearance. Please contact Nova Shores well in advance in case you need a ride with from their office in Advocate Harbour
Advocate Harbour is located 1 hr 20 min from Amherst, 40 min from Parrsboro, 3 hrs from Halifax, 2 hrs from Truro
As this tour is very tide-dependent, the start times vary widely from day to day, and can be anything from early morning to late afternoon
