Sit back and relax in the comfort of the lodge as you watch the magical aurora borealis unfold before your eyes. For this private aurora tour, your group will travel to a remote and private location where you'll enjoy the night all to yourselves. Located less than 100 miles from Fairbanks in Delta Junction, the Aurora Viewing Lodge sits under the aurora oval, a section of the earth's atmosphere where you can see the northern lights. You'll chase the lights only when necessary, otherwise enjoy the comfort of the lodge and its amenities. You'll be picked up in a 12-passenger van where you'll enjoy the comfort and warmth while keeping an eye out for the aurora on the way.

You'll be guided by a local Alaskan native who knows the area and where to go and has grown up experiencing this natural phenomenon. Your local guide will teach you how to set up your personal camera equipment so that you go home with excellent northern lights photos of your own. You can also choose to rent a camera at the time of booking if you don't have your own.
