You'll begin your day with a pick-up from your accommodations in the city. First, you'll visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, the famous underground passageways used during the Vietnam War. Here, you'll learn about guerrilla warfare and how the Vietnamese lived and defended their land, with a chance to meet a war veteran and try firing a rifle at the shooting range (at an additional cost).
After exploring the tunnels, you'll enjoy a delicious local lunch (at your own expense) before heading to the War Remnants Museum to learn about the First Indochina War and the Vietnam War. Next, you'll visit the Independence Palace, once the home of past presidents, and admire its stunning architecture. You'll also marvel at the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral before visiting the Central Post Office, known for its French influence. You'll have time to take photos and pick up a souvenir before returning to your accommodations.
