Start the day by rising early and enjoying a scenic train ride to the Peruvian town of Aguas Calientes. Transfer to a bus for a brief journey to the much-visited archaeological site of Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu is simply one of the most astounding places on Earth! Learn about the historical background of this impressive site from your guide while you spend the morning walking around the ruins. After the tour, you will have free time to explore the complex at your own pace. Why not walk to the Sun Gate for sweeping views of the area below or wander the stone path of Inca Bridge?

By 6 pm, hop on the train and ride back to the city.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: To secure your train ticket, Machu Picchu entrance, and hotel pickup, the following details are required for all participants: Full name (as per passport), Date of birth, Passport number, Nationality, Hotel address. If the required information is not provided, the right is reserved to reject the booking.
Please bring your passport and immigration card with you, as you will need to show these to the guide before starting the tour.
At 7:00 pm the day before you will have a briefing with a guide about the tour to Machu Picchu in the lobby of your hotel (please provide hotel details).
Train and entrance tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable; therefore, once Urban Adventures has confirmed your tickets, they are unable to change the name or date on the ticket, nor can they ask for a refund. As such, cancellations will attract a 100% cancellation fee.
Due to strict identity checks at the Machu Picchu entrance, it is your responsibility to ensure all personal details are accurate. It is strongly recommended to review your information carefully before submitting your booking. If assistance is needed, please contact info@cuscourbanadventures.com.
You must bring your passport and immigration card on the day of the tour, as these must be presented to the guide.
If your passport has been renewed, it is recommend carrying both the old and the new passport, as the passport presented must match the ticket details.
Train tickets and Machu Picchu entrance tickets are non‑transferable and non‑refundable.
Once tickets are confirmed, names and dates cannot be changed.
Any cancellation after ticket confirmation will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
These conditions override the standard cancellation policy.
