Know Before You Go

Bring layered clothing (synthetic shirt, insulated jacket, wind shell, and waterproof rain jacket), climbing or hiking pants, a 30–50L backpack, approach or hiking shoes, technical rock shoes, belay gloves, sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, lunch, snacks (like energy bars or trail mix), and at least 1.5 liters of water
Warm Weather – (May-Sept). Hydrate the night before your climb. Light colored and loose fitting clothing will help keep you cool. Cold Weather – (Spring and Fall) Bring gloves and a warm hat that will fit under your helmet. Bring extra layers like a heavier insulated jacket to keep warm when the sun ducks behind clouds
