Begin with a stunning view of Belalcázar, traveling up a winding road through coffee and platano plantations to the peak of Cerro del Alto del Oso. At the summit, you'll see the 148-foot tall Christ the King statue, built between 1947-1954 to promote peace in Colombia.

Descend into the valley to Viterbo, passing through the “Tunnel of the Samanes,” a road lined with century-old Saman trees and wooden sculptures. In Viterbo, tour the town in a Willy's Jeep, explore the plaza, and have lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, visit a Trapiche (Panela Factory) surrounded by sugarcane fields. Learn about the traditional process of panela production that dates back over 500 years. The day ends with a relaxing journey back to your accommodation, savoring the fresh taste of panela.
