Private Wildlife Enrichment Workshop

During this Wildlife Enrichment Workshop, participants will have the opportunity to interact with the rescued animals of the center while learning about animal husbandry and enrichment practices. Begin with an introduction and lecture to talk about different enrichment activities. Shortly after, the group will take a quick walk around the property to learn about the various animals and their rescue stories. Following the walk, guests will prepare different toys for the animals that they want to help! There will also be snack time while guests create their enrichment toys! The appetizers will be from one of the favorite local restaurants (if there are any dietary restrictions please let them know in the reservation inquiry). Afterwards, participants will implement the enrichment they created and enjoy seeing the reactions of the animals. Then come back to the Education Center for a fun review of what was learned!
Note: Up to six guests are included in this experience. Must be 18 years or older to be in the workshop. As some animals might not immediately react to the enrichment, participants will be sent a photo of the animal playing with the enrichment right to their email as a fun souvenir.
