If you're looking to slow down and soak in more of the Rhine Gorge, the full-day rafting trip is perfect. After meeting at Ilanz train station, you'll take a short walk to the base where your guide will get you prepped with info, gear, and a full safety briefing. Then it's onto the river, where you'll paddle through towering chalk walls, rock formations, and lively rapids before stopping at Versam for a hearty BBQ lunch right by the water—plenty of time to relax, chat, and refuel.
The second half of the trip offers calmer waters and more time to enjoy the views before finishing in Reichenau, just above the confluence of the Vorder- and Hinterrhein. Once you're out of the water, you'll change into dry clothes and celebrate the day with a well-earned Happy Landing Apéro.
