Rainforest Canopy Zipline
Soar through the rainforest on nine ziplines and end with a 55-foot rappel near the Whitman Lake Fish Hatchery.
At Herring Cove, climb aboard a custom 4×4 Unimog that takes you up a steep rainforest hillside to the canopy chalet. Professionally trained guides will outfit you with state-of-the-art safety gear and provide a full orientation before you step onto the first platform. Your rainforest canopy challenge includes nine exhilarating ziplines, starting with shorter runs and gradually increasing to lines up to 600 feet long and platforms as high as 100 feet. Keep an eye out—eagles and bears are often spotted from the platforms. One of the longest zips breaks through the canopy, offering stunning views of the forest and salmon-spawning creek below.
As you glide from platform to platform, the sights and sounds of the rainforest surround you, creating a fully immersive experience in the wildlife preserve. The final zipline carries you out of the trees and across grassy wetlands to a 55-foot tower overlooking the Whitman Lake Fish Hatchery, where you’ll finish the adventure with a rappel back to the ground.
