The Rhino Walking Safari offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature as you explore the MosioaTunya National Park on foot, observing a variety of flora, fauna, and wildlife, including white rhinos. The adventure begins with a transfer from your hotel, followed by a briefing from your safari guide and an armed Wildlife Police Officer from the Zambia Department of National Parks and Wildlife for added safety. You'll spend three hours tracking wildlife and learning about the park's diverse ecosystems, with your guide providing detailed insights into mammals, birds, plants, reptiles, and more.
During the safari, you'll have the chance to closely observe and learn about various species as you track them through the park. Your guide will share fascinating facts about the Zambezi River and the history of the area. After the walking safari, you'll relax with snacks, refreshments, or wine at a picnic site along the Zambezi River, marking the end of your adventure before being transferred back to your hotel or lodge.
