River Kwai and Erawan Falls Full Day Tour
A guided, shared full-day tour of the Kanchanaburi Province with gorgeous waterfalls and a museum.
While today it's a popular destination for travelers, Kanchanaburi is steeped in the horrifying history of the Death Railway. After a scenic drive, you'll be taken to the JEATH War Museum – dedicated to the story of the men who worked on the Death Railway.
Next, you'll head to the bridge on the River Kwai – part of a strategic railway route to Burma in which the Japanese aimed to secure supplies to conquer other Western Asian countries. Your guide will tell you its history and you can take pictures before taking a relaxing boat trip along the river.
Finally, visit the Erawan National Park – home to one of the most popular waterfalls in the country, the seven-tiered Erawan Falls with its emerald green ponds. Here, you have enough time for a refreshing swim right in the middle of the jungle or you can even walk to the top level of the waterfalls.
