Peñas Blancas river offers an excellent opportunity to explore some of the beautiful flora and fauna of this region as well as animals like sloths, monkeys, and toucans. Enjoy the tranquility of the lower section on an easy-going, nature-lovers safari float. There will be two stops on the journey. First, participants will enjoy some fresh, locally grown tropical fruits. Then they'll have a delicious, authentic Costa Rican organic lunch.
During this tour, tour guests will learn about the growing, harvesting, and production of chocolate, medicinal plants, fruits, and sugar cane. The guide will help guests extract juice from the cane in a traditional fashion and they'll get to enjoy a glass of pure sugar cane juice! This journey ends here and participants will be dropped back off at their hotel in Fortuna.
