Know Before You Go

Meeting location will be at Butcher Jones beach. The location is approximately a 40-minute drive from the Scottsdale and Tempe area.
Try to be parked at least 15-minutes before the adventure begins. Parking on Holidays and weekends can be full so it is best to arrive early.
The route of the tour can vary due to weather and paddlers abilities. Guides will chose the safest route and no paddler is left behind.
Plan for at least one or two breaks during the tour for snacks and photos.
Prior Kayaking experience is recommended but not required. Participants should be comfortable on open water and be able to swim.
