An advanced dive for those wanting to explore arches and caves with a good chance of pelagics. El Morro is a small rock pinnacle 45 minutes away from the marina in La Cruz, often home to a couple of sea lions during the winter months. It's not an easy dive site, with current and sometimes some strong waves - but it is rewarding because the stronger sea conditions make it rich and diverse in life. ​
Depths reach 40m here, so it's a site only for advanced divers. There is a cavern entrance at 30m that our experienced guides will be able to help you explore. The rock is covered in sponges, sea fans, and squirts and there is a good chance of seeing sea lions in the water and sometimes Manta.
