Sea Kayaking Trip To Cypress Island (3 Days, All-Inclusive)

Sea Kayaking Trip To Cypress Island (3 Days, All-Inclusive)

Anacortes, WA
Details

This 3 Day excursion to Cypress Island where you will paddle around, camp on, and explore the “last best place” in the San Juan Islands.

While the forests of Cypress Island provide a classically “San Juan Islands” backdrop for visitors, it is the shorelines and intertidal zones that attract sea kayakers. Steep, rocky headlands, protected bays, and sub-tidal eelgrass meadows support a wide variety of creatures that can best be viewed from the cockpit of a sea kayak. Some of our most incredible Orca whale encounters have occurred while we were exploring “the Cones.” The two camping areas on Cypress Island are both primitive areas with outstanding views and access to great hiking trails. The hiking here is something that you do not want to miss out on.

This experiences includes: 2 nights of camping on Cypress Island , All camping and kayaking equipment is provided, All meals are provided, including lunches, Tandem kayaks (*single kayak option available for extra $25 each)

Please note: This longer multi-day sea kayaking expedition is best suited for folks in reasonably good shape. These trips are designed to be a little more physically involved.
