The excursion departs from Umbertino Bridge and continues toward the Small Port of Syracuse (Lo Sbarcadero), dedicated to the city’s patron saint, St. Lucia. The route then follows the eastern seafront of Ortigia, where views of Maniace Castle highlight the island’s defensive heritage.
