Experience this unique drive leaving sea-level altitude and climbing to 1850 ft. or 600 meters’ elevation at Tenorio Volcano. This trip will definitely turn into an amazing day as the drive goes toward the active Volcanos Miravalles and Tenorio. It is recommended that participants bring a windbreaker or rain gear, and long sleeves. Also bring a swimming suit, towel, and a dry set of changing cloths.

The guide will take tour guests through the wonders of Costa Rica as they make it to a Private Reserve, a short and easy 40-minute walk. Guests will enjoy looking for sloths, monkeys, poison frogs, birds, and a butterfly garden. At this place, participants will enjoy a delicious lunch.

The next stop is swimming at the Waterfall Cortez. Tour guests can stay at their leisure. Once they are ready, they'll start the drive back. There are places to stop for shopping on the way if wanted.
