A well-protected marine park boasting a variety of reef fish. A marine protected area, Los Arcos is one of the most popular dive sites in the Bay of Banderas, located around 7 miles North of Puerto Vallarta. Underwater rock formations form dramatic walls, arches, caverns and swim throughs that are home to a variety of reef fish, such as puffers, sturgeon and butterfly.
Snorkelers will catch the shallowest parts of the reef - home mostly to juvenile fish as they gain experience before heading out deeper.
