Step into the Yukon and Sled Dog Tour Experience

Cross into Canada’s Tormented Valley and Boreal Forest, and experience a dog mushing ride with a professional team!

Details

After pick-up, explore Skagway's historic district before heading out of town and ascending the scenic Summit Pass. At the summit, cross into British Columbia, Canada, and journey through the Tormented Valley, a weathered, dwarfed forest unlike any other. Pause to take in the dramatic scenery and marvel at this unique, otherworldly landscape.  Your journey continues through the Boreal Forest and the scenic lakes region, with opportunities to stop, take photos, and soak in the ever-changing landscapes as you venture deeper into Canada.

Next, visit the Dog Mushing Camp, where Michelle Phillips and her professional racing team will share the ins and outs of mushing, off-season training, and life as a professional musher.  Experience a summer dog mushing training ride, offering a fun and educational glimpse into how these incredible canine athletes train. Afterwards, return to Skagway for drop-off in town or back at your cruise ship.

Please note: This tour will go from the United States into Canada, so it is required to bring your passport.
