Although a shark, this giant fish does not have any teeth and is a very gentle creature. Whale sharks live in constant migration, following their food around the oceans, and are only present in the waters of the Yucatan from June to September.​

The tour involves navigating by boat out to their feeding grounds, searching for the whale sharks, and then jumping into the waters with your guide to swim alongside these magnificent creatures, observing them with mask and snorkel.

After swimming with the gentle giant you will have lunch on the boat just in front of the fabulous beach of Playa Norte of Isla Mujeres, where you can also enjoy a swim in the clearest of shallow waters.
