Taste of Jersey City Heights Food Tour

Eat like a local while learning about the history and inspiration behind six diverse eateries. Discover why New Jerseyans travel from all over the state to get the most authentic and delicious bites they can't find anywhere else.
Participants will come away feeling deeply satisfied, not just by the delicious variety of food but by the newfound appreciation for the food scene in the (JC) Heights. Tour guests will also leave with an appreciation for the eclectic art and rich history of the area. Meet with local chefs, restaurateurs, and other industry experts to discover the stories and inspiration behind the food.
Count on a mix of five to six unique hand-picked "mom-n-pop" restaurants, ranging from authentic Mexican and Peruvian to West African and so much more. Eat a light breakfast. There is plenty of food on the tour for a filling lunch. It is not possible to accommodate dietary/allergy restrictions at this time.
This tour has a maximum of ten participants. There is a six-person minimum for the tour to operate; if this minimum is not met, you will be rescheduled to another tour.
