Overview

The Myth of Lost Atlantis Experience

Enjoy hotel pickup and explore Akrotiri, then dive into the unforgettable Lost Atlantis 9D adventure!

Details

After being picked up from your hotel, head to Akrotiri, the ancient Santorini settlement buried in ash around 1500 BC. Follow your guide through the site to see how the city was once organized and learn how a volcanic eruption both destroyed and preserved it.

As you pass private homes and public buildings, spot signs of the advanced infrastructure that shaped life 4,000 years ago, and optionally view Akrotiri findings at the Prehistoric Museum in Fira. Then visit the Lost Atlantis 9D Experience Museum, where interactive films and AR displays reveal the links between Plato's Atlantis and Santorini's volcanic past.

Watch a holographic simulation of Santorini's geological evolution and interact with a hologram of Plato about his philosophy and the island's link to the Atlantis legend. Relive the quake, tsunami, and eruption that destroyed Atlantis. Walk on 'lava' inside an active-volcano set, suit up, and snap photos as an Atlantean!
