The Numbers Half-Day Rafting and Zipline
Start your morning off with a Mountaintop Zipline tour. You'll soar through densely wooded areas and by massive rocky mountain faces that litter the expansive Gold Camp property as you zip from cliff to cliff. You will be amazed at how beautiful the snow-capped mountain peaks and Arkansas River are from your very own aerial view. Take a short break for a chicken fajita lunch at the outpost before heading out to raft the notorious section of the Arkansas River known as The Numbers.
The Numbers rafting offers narrow channels, steep drops, and technical maneuverings as you travel through boulder-strewn canyons and gorgeous valleys. The Numbers have been described as a quintessential Class III-V river rafting trip. It is famous for its non-stop white water action and steep drops that will give you a great adrenaline rush to start your day.
This trip includes approximately six miles on the river which takes about three hours. Experience adrenaline-filled, non-stop action with eight Class III-V rapids! The maximum weight for the zipline is 250 lbs and the minimum age is 15. This experience will require physical excursion throughout and participants must be moderately active.
For the rafting portion of this trip, it is very important to wear shoes that will stay securely on your feet. Old tennis shoes, water shoes, and sandals with a heel strap are great. (No crocs or flip-flops please.)
