Tulúm is located 131 KM (81 miles) south of Cancun along the coast of the Mexican Caribbean. This archaeological site was built in the post classic period and was originally called Zama which means Sunrise in the Mayan language. From the many findings at the site, it has been proven that other cultures had traded with the Mayas; therefore, Tulúm was a very important trading post. Today, Tulúm is the second most visited archaeological site of Mexico. Duration: 4 hours
