Upper Clear Creek Raftiing and Via Ferrata
Start your day by rafting the continuous, steep Class IV section of Clear Creek known as Upper Clear Creek. It'll have your heart racing all morning and you'll get to enjoy this rapids adventure just 30 minutes west of downtown Denver, Colorado.
After a quick lunch break, head to the cliffside for AVA's mountaineering excursion! The Via Ferrata is a combination of traversing the cliffside, rappelling, a free fall, and concluding your trip by ziplining back down to the outpost. Spend your day venturing through the mountains on with this thrilling combo of activities!
Note: The total time on the water is approx. 1.5 hours (this varies greatly depending on water levels). The minimum age for this trip is 15 years old. Be sure to bring a fleece and/or quick dry clothing, waterproof sunscreen, sunglasses, and a cash tip to your raft and Via Ferrata guides! For the rafting portion of this trip, it is very important to wear shoes that will stay securely on your feet. Old tennis shoes, water shoes, and sandals with a heel strap are great. (No crocs or flip-flops please.)
This is a wild excursion and requires physical exertion throughout the trip. Participants should be moderately active.
