After leaving the hotel, you will cross a glacial valley to the northeast to cross the Garibaldi Pass, the only road pass that crosses the chain of the Fuegian Andes. From the top of the mountain range, you will see Lake Escondido, a small wonder at the bottom of the valley.
Near the northern end of Lake Escondido, you will leave the asphalt and begin a journey along the old sawmill roads that soon become paths impassable for conventional vehicles and lead to Lake Fagnano, the fifth-largest lake in Argentina. In the forest near the coast of Fagnano, you will have free time to walk and explore while the guide prepares a hearty meal that you will enjoy comfortably in an exclusive heated shelter located in the middle of a natural environment, far from the noise of modern life.
