Venetian cuisine is famously hard to get to know, but not when you're in the company of a local food lover who knows the city like the back of their hand. As you hop from one bacaro (Venetian wine bar) to another sampling local specialties, your expert foodie guide will show you where to eat, how to eat, and what to eat when visiting La Serenisima.
Step off the tourist track and into the neighborhood of San Polo to meet your expert local guide and a small group of fellow foodies. Your guide will start with a brief introduction to the traditional food and flavors of Venice. Then you'll taste Venice with a visit to five local osterie; enjoy a variety of small plates, traditional pasta, and local drinks; learn to how to enjoy cicchetti like a local; and finish with a delicious gelato-based treat.

If the local municipality restricts access due to high tide and there are no walkways available, it is the client’s responsibility to bring appropriate footwear (e.g., boots). The guide will modify the itinerary to include alternate dry paths whenever possible. No refund will be provided if high tide prevents certain parts of the tour, but adjustments to the route will be made for client safety and comfort
