Before entering Xunantunich, you'll find many vendors waiting along the riverside at the entrance selling handmade goods. Then, take the hand-cranked ferry that carries you over to the lovely temple. The views of the Cayo District and nearby Guatemala from the top of 'El Castillo' are magnificent!
Next, head to Jaguar Paw for cave tubing. Embark on a 30-minute hike that includes wading through knee-deep water streams. At the entrance to the caves, enjoy floating through in inflatable tubes.
Finish off with a nice lunch before returning to your accommodation.
