The capital city of Aruba is a shopper’s paradise. Fine jewelry stores, boutiques, and luxury retailers pepper the walkable streets tempting passersby. Architecturally it’s a wonderful city to brush up your Insta-game with charming buildings and expansive sidewalks that are just as lovely to walk down as they are to gaze at with appealing designs embedded within.

  • Shopping

We don’t always encourage shopping for “stuff” but the shops here are cute and wandering in and out of the shops is experiential in nature. Plus, purchasing something that will remind you of this adventure, be that art on the wall at home, new shoes, or a dress you can sport in the summer back home is always a healthy practice.

  • Aloe

With virtually every day of the year offering sunny weather be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen and you won’t need any aloe. That said, 100 years ago the economy was completely dependent on aloe and there’s a museum called The Aloe Museum and Factory which is worth a visit.

  • Trolley

Take advantage of the new trolley in town as a novel way to experience the city. Hop on and hop off while taking in periodic adult beverages from the local bars and popping into quaint boutique stores for a look around.
