The downtown area (AKA “the Village”) has recently been revitalized, and it is very pedestrian-friendly. • Palm Springs gets a decent amount of tourists for Spring Break in March, and Coachella in April. Spring temps can get into the upper 80s. It is a good time to visit, depending on whether you want to join or avoid the spring break and Coachella crowds.

  • Ridiculously hot and dry. If you like setting yourself on fire, you would probably enjoy Palm Springs in the summer.

  • Spring and fall really are the best times to visit. It is basically like summer weather in most other places. October can still reach the 90s.
