5 Clever Halloween Costumes for Couples

Game of Thrones

GoT could just as well be called GOAT as it may prove to be the greatest of all time as an epic TV series.  This year marked the second to last season so you’d have to be living in a (dragon) cave to avoid the hubbub.  There have been many romantic pairings throughout the show’s history including a new one that we’ll attempt to keep a secret for the few people in the world who aren’t caught up.  For our example, we think the Joffrey and Sansa pairing is just perfect for the scariest night of the year.  And if your partner isn’t too keen on being Joffrey, there’s always Ramsay.

IT

Breaking box office records is the latest blockbuster horror movie to hit theaters: IT.  Pennywise may be a creepy clown (which we’re not happy about) but the combination of that costume with one of the rain-jacket clad children and newspaper folded boat are just irresistible.  Get hyped prior to the big night with a visit to the movie theater for the latest rendition of Stephen King’s thriller.

Stranger Things

Stranger Things broke the internet a year ago when season 1 debuted and fans of nostalgia are getting pumped for season 2 being released later this month.  Why not go as Chief Hopper, Eleven, or, as we see  here, Joyce.  This girl’s expression is absolutely perfect with the home walls behind her.  Perhaps her partner should be dressed as the Demogorgon.

Snapchat Filters

This idea is hilarious.  The craze that is Snapchat Filters is brought to real life if you can afford a few cheap costume essentials like dog ears or fake flowers.  If you decide to do this one, please take a Snapchat photo of yourselves with the appropriate Snapchat Filters over your costumed faces…I wonder what would happen.

Donald Trump + (Whatever)

Trump seems to take up more of the news-feed than any other person in history with various rivalries and controversial comments.  Pictured here is a Trump costume paired with a Mexican wall.  We think another great idea would be one person dresses up as the Donald, while the other person bring multiple costumes to change into throughout the night.  These costumes would be for Sean Spicer, Steve Bannon, Michael Flynn, Katie Walsh, etc.  Basically, going through the long list of Trump’s top officials who have been fired or left over the short presidential tenure.
There are classic costumes that will never go old, and rare moments in history that present the perfect relevant costume opportunities for Halloween.  Take advantage of these funny times and make a priceless couple-costume.rnrn
