Participants will learn traditional techniques while wearing a craftsman’s uniform called a samue, gaining hands-on insight into Japan’s philosophy of treasuring objects and honoring their history. Each guest creates a unique piece to take home, combining artistry with cultural understanding.

The workshop is led by Master Taku Nakano, a celebrated ceramist awarded the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon for his artistic excellence and charitable work.
