Barley Brown’s Brew Pub (Baker City)

For a hoppy experience in a family-owned brewpub check out Barley Brown’s where you’ll find IPAs, triple IPAs, and a robust Russian imperial stout that will knock you out if you have one too many. Come for the beer and stay for the tunes as they have regular live entertainment.

BridgePort Brewing Company (Portland)

The first brewery in Oregon should not be overlooked by any beer enthusiast. BridgePort claims that distinction and you’d be doing yourself a favor by coming in for the Multi Ball Double IPA or a taste of their unique and easy-sipping Mosaic Hopped Cream Ale.

Traditional Irish beers are usually found in, you know, Ireland. But Feckin Pub (sounds almost vulgar) brews some of the best beers outside of Dublin. We’re proud to offer a tour and dining experience that will, of course, include some beer tasting.

Overlooking the Deschutes River is the Bend Brewing Company. However, if you’d like an excuse to head to the coast you could check out one of their other brewery locations such as at Cannon Beach, or pair it with some local cheese at Tillamook.

Contributing to the growing trend of sour ales is Cascade Brewing thanks to its proximity to Oregon’s other alcohol-inspired vise: wine country. Cascade combines fruits such as pears, peaches, and apricots to their brews to give you a tasty infusion.

Unfiltered pilsner, oat stout, fruit wheat ale, and a rotating cask ale are just a selection of the wide variety of beers you’ll find at Block 15. Carve off some time for this visit and save some belly room as you’ll want to experience their tasty menu as well, from pub nachos to a house-made hazelnut hummus you’re going to have beer complimented by food.

The most well-known brewery out of Oregon is Deschutes and lives in Bend. Chances are that you’ve tried their Black Butte Porter at a bar near you, but you’ll have no other place with such a wide selection than their very own taproom.

As the 9th largest brewing company in the United States you might think that they’ve forgotten their craft roots, but you’d be mistaken. They are often credited for bringing hefeweizen to the masses and they still receive accolades for their take on the trendy brew style, with winning the gold at for American-Style Hefeweizen at the 2017 North American Beer Awards.

A beer tastes better with a good view: or a view looks better with a good beer. Either way you’ll not be disappointed with this visit to the coast where a plethora of beer varieties will keep your taste buds electrified.
