Learn traditional Japanese arts: tea ceremony, calligraphy, and katana practice in a guided cultural experience.

Details

Master traditional Japanese arts in one immersive experience that blends culture, creativity, and hands-on learning. Participants will don elegant kimono, partake in a serene tea ceremony, practice the refined art of calligraphy, and experience the thrill of drawing a real Japanese sword while dressed in traditional hakama. Each activity is guided by skilled instructors who provide thoughtful, hands-on instruction, ensuring both beginners and enthusiasts can fully engage with the disciplines.

During the tea ceremony, guests will observe the seasonal decorations, tools, and gestures that embody Japanese hospitality and mindfulness. In calligraphy, participants will create a personalized piece to take home, using traditional brushes, ink, and the Hisui-ryu seal. The sword experience allows guests to handle and draw an authentic katana, with memorable photos in full traditional attire. This comprehensive cultural journey offers an unforgettable introduction to four timeless Japanese arts.
