Chichicastenango Market is considered one of the largest and most colorful markets in Latin America with a panoramic view of Lake Atitlán.

You will be picked up from the meeting points in Antigua and transferred to Chichicastenango.Start west of the country where most of the indigenous villages of Guatemala are concentrated. On the way to the destination, you will seee wooded area surrounded by pine trees along with other tree species and where a variety of vegetables are grown by local people.

At the market starts the walking tour. The merchants descend every Thursday and Sunday to the central square to sell their products in this impressive indigenous market that has changed very little over the centuries. You will then visit Santo Tomás Church, built in 1540. At the end of the walk you will continue to the town of Panajachel, which is located on Lake Atitlan.
