Phantom Lake by Seaplane
Fly into the mountains to discover Phantom Lake and unwind on a remote alpine beach during this 90-minute adventure!
Phantom Lake, tucked high in the mountains near Squamish, is a breathtaking emerald-hued hanging lake fed by glacial runoff from Mt. Jimmy Jimmy and Tzoonie Mountain. At one end, icy waters cascade in from these ancient glaciers; at the other, the lake spills out in a waterfall that plunges into the valley below.
You'll soar shoulder-to-shoulder with million-year-old peaks, glide over timeless valleys, and traverse a landscape that looks straight out of the National Geographic documentary. After winding your way through the majestic Coast Mountains, your floatplane will gently touch down on the turquoise surface of Phantom Lake.
From there, your pilot will taxi you to shore, where you'll have the time to take photos, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or simply unwind in complete alpine solitude. Pack a picnic to enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery in British Columbia!
