  • Wine

Sedona is considered "Wine Country Arizona". Sedona has a plethora of tasting rooms and wineries.
  • Art & Culture

Sedona really has become something of a resort destination. One of the reasons could be its very vibrant art scene. Especially tied to its Native American past, the art and craft culture here does a wonderful job of paying homage to the area’s past. The Sedona Art Center offers an up-close look at the evolution of the town’s cultural perspective.
  • Outdoor Activities

Of course, Sedona is all about hiking. Traverse the Thunder Mountain trail, explore Jack’s Canyon, walk through Red Rock State Park—you could spend weeks hiking here and not even come close to seeing it all. With all of the trails, mountain biking is also hugely popular in Sedona. Jeep tours are another incredibly fun and exciting way to explore the region.
  • Dining

As it is a very popular vacation spot, the area certainly knows how to cater to hungry tourists. You can most definitely find authentic Mexican cuisine. Although pretty much whatever type of dining experience you’re in the mood for, Sedona has a restaurant to tantalize your taste buds.

When to Visit Sedona

  • Winter

Winter is the slow season as highs only reach the 50s. It is also the wet season.
  • Spring

Spring is a beautiful time to visit to see the new blooms as well as to celebrate bottle releases. Spring is the dry season. It is also the busiest time of the year.
  • Summer

Summer is very hot, with highs in the mid-90s. We recommend spring or fall for visiting.
  • Fall

Fall is wonderful. The mild weather is great for exploring the outdoors. October highs are in the mid-70s.

What an amazing tour. We saw whales, dolphins and porpoises. The crew was very friendly and enthusiastic. We could really tell they are very respectful towards the animals, we were able to see two humpbacks for nearly half an hour, everybody was silent, the engine was off and the crew was also in awe. Only when the whales left, the engine was back on and we also started moving again. We really felt like we had all the time in the world and we didn't disturb the animals.
