Alpine Zipline
Soar through a tree top zipline adventure in the Alaska rainforest on mountainous Douglas Island.
Imagine yourself gliding through the Alaskan rainforest on seven ziplines and ten platforms, each offering a new perspective of the Tongass National Forest. Outfitted with high-quality gear and guided by a knowledgeable expert, you'll receive a full safety briefing before climbing to the first platform. Once clipped into the double cable zipline, you’ll soar from a bear’s-eye to a bird’s-eye view, taking in alpine forests, streams, and 400-year-old Sitka spruce and western hemlock trees. Aerial suspension bridges offer even more breathtaking views, all while securely clipped in above the forest floor.
Your journey ends at a uniquely designed treehouse, where a guided interpretive walk brings you back to the lodge. There, you’ll have the chance to grab a snack, browse for gifts, or purchase photos as a keepsake of your unforgettable adventure.
